Sherry Anne Nichols

Sherry Anne Ives Nichols, 66, of Alexander passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in Little Rock. She was born on Feb. 14, 1947 in Little Rock to the late John Oran and Pearl Elizabeth Ives. Sherry graduated from Mabelvale High School. She worked for the Little Rock School District for over 23 years as paraprofessional helping the handicapped and as a library clerk. Sherry loved to fish. She loved her family, treasured the time she spent with them and loved being a grandma. She was a member of Little Rock Church. She is survived by her husband of over 46 years, Thomas Nichols Sr.; her children, Teresa (Jeff) Cloud of Bryant, Don (Tina) Nichols of Little Rock and Deborah (Larry) Gray of Alexander; her brothers, Morgan (Lois) Ives of Bryant, Larry (Linda) Ives of Benton, her twin brother, Jerry (Gail) Ives of Alexander and Phillip (Pat) Ives of Bryant; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 24 at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
