Jordan Toft Bottje, age 23, of Bentonville, Atk., passed away suddenly on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Northwest Arkansas Medical Center in Bentonville. Born April 22, 1990 in Joplin, Mo., she was a 2007 graduate of Ozark High School in Ozark, Mo., where she was a member of National Honor Society. She received her Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and her Bachelor of Science in Transportation & Logistics from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Jordan was the youngest to complete the Honors Program at Walton School of Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was also awarded the honor of Outstanding Graduate of the Information Systems degree program. Jordan worked as a logistics engineer for J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., where she also served her internship from 2009-2011. She was a member of South Gate Baptist Church of Springfield, Mo. She met the love of her life and soul mate, Tyler Bottje, four years ago, and they were married on May 11, 2013 in Lowell, Ark. He survives. Additional survivors include her parents, David and Shelly (Simon) Toft of Bentonville, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Rev. Robert (Bob) and Barbara Simon of Carl Junction; paternal grandparents, Ossie and Martha Toft of Aurora, Mo.; three aunts, Cindy Moudy and husband Mike of Carl Junction, Rhonda Curry and husband Mike of Joplin, Mo., Rev. Mary Lou Toft of Noel, Mo.; Tyler's parents, Walter and Sari Bottje of Fayetteville, Ark., grandparents, Joyce and Will Bottje of Grand Rapids, Mich. grandmother, Margaret ‘Buni' Shupe of Carbondale, Ill. several cousins, extended family, cherished friends, coworkers; and her beloved dog, Buster.
