Kenneth Taylor Gilbert

Kenneth Taylor Gilbert, 63, of Benton, born November 2, 1949, passed away on June 20, 2013. He was Southern Baptist affiliation and a member of the 173rd Airborne Alumnus. Kenneth was close to Jesus in his shared love of fishing and carpentry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Charles (Milner) Gilbert and family members, Ruby Davis and Pam Brown. Kenneth is survived by daughters, Charles Jeanise Gilbert and Julia Ann Gilbert. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jacky Pendergist, Jimmy Pendergist, Seth Petrie, Collin Petrie and Aiden Petrie; siblings, Joyce Brown, Charlene Wilson and Jackie; and family members, Morrie and Sonya Stovall. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 612 Valley View, Benton, Ark. 72019. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
