Lt. Freddie Marion McKinley

Lt. Freddie Marion (Jack) McKinley, ASP Ret. passed away on June 23, 2013 at the Murfreesboro Rehab and Nursing Center. He was the son of W.H. (Bud) McKinley and Rosa Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of three years, Cordell James McKinley, and his sister, Margie Short and husband, Clyde. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lou Davenport of Murfreesboro; one son, Freddie McKinley and wife Pam of Crossett; one daughter, Paula Sue McKinley of New York City; two grandsons Chad and wife, Jill of Florida, and Hudson of New York City; two great grandchildren, Hayley and Landen; and two nephews, Dan Short and wife, Susan and Ted Short. He was a graduate of Ft. Lake School, attended flight school and became a flight instructor and commercial pilot. He retired from the Arkansas State Police in 1980 after serving 32 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and a deacon emeritus. He was a member of Whittington Lodge #365 and a 32 Degree Mason. Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fountain Lake Scholarship Fund; P.O.
