Sherri Dianne Cathey

Sherri Dianne Ridge Cathey age 39 left us to be with the Lord on June 26, 2013. She was born November 22, 1973 in Little Rock, Ark. to Dale and Shirley Ridge as the youngest of three children. She attended school in Bryant, Ark. and graduated from Bryant High School. She gained her degree in Accounting from UALR and went on to earn a Masters degree in education to pursue a teaching career. She finished her career teaching at Bethel Middle School in Bryant, Ark. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leslie Scruggs and paternal grandmother, Lois Ridge. Survivors include her parents, Dale and Shirley Ridge of Bryant, sister, Lisa Baxley (Ray) of Alexander, brother Tim Ridge (Ashley) of Little Rock, husband Mike Cathey of Bryant, daughters Haylee Campbell, Savanna Cathey, Cameron Cathey and Brynnan Cathey of the home and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 12 noon on June 29 at Fellowship Bible Church in Benton, Ark. with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery in Alexander, Ark. Visitation will be Friday, June 28 from 6-8 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
