Larry DeWayne Johnson

Larry DeWayne Johnson, 75, of Lonsdale, Ark., peacefully passed away at home on February 22, 2013. Larry was surrounded by his loving family and is now in the presence of the Lord. Born on January 25, 1938, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanie (Nana) and seven children, Michael Johnson, Mark Johnson (Hollie), Shelly Davis (Bobby), Randy Johnson (Rosanne), Ricky Johnson, Robbin Gardner (Mark), and Renee Marble (Richard). He was also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a loving sister, Charleen Tisdale (Phil) and many nieces, nephews family and friends. Larry was a Veteran of the Navy and a retired truck driver and fleet manager for A. Tennebaum Co. Inc. He was foremost a Christian man and did not hesitate to share his faith and beliefs in the Lord with those around him. Larry cherished his family. He loved time spent on his farm along with family cookouts, antiques, and going to auctions. Larry was a strong foundation in his family. Although we have many cherished memories with him, there will be an irreplaceable void in our lives until we meet with him again. At his request, no visitation or public service was held.
