Ruby Jeanette Battisto

Ruby Jeanette Battisto, age 83, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home in Yukon, Okla. She was born December 9, 1929 in North Little Rock, Ark. to Jesse J. and Helen (Nickles) Armstrong. She grew up in North Little Rock and was a 1947 graduate of North Little Rock High School. The family moved to Tulsa, Okla. in 1952 and lived there until 1998 when she moved to Yukon. She was a stay at home wife, mom and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Steve, one son, Jamie and one sister Lucille. She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Henderson and husband Paul of Yukon and Jody McBride and husband David of El Reno. Also by five grandchildren Shannon, Dustin, Steven and wife Bethany, Barrett, Courtney and husband Josh, three great-grandchildren Grace, Emma and Abby. Two sisters, Ruth Farris and Marguerite Whitten both of North Little Rock, Ark. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Okla. with interment following at 3 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
