Cora S. Childers

Cora S. Cowan Childers, 100, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was born Sept. 14, 1912 to Phillip A. Cowan and Nancy Brison Cowan at Ozark, Ark. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Jefferson Childers, two sons, two daughters, six brothers, one sister and five grandchildren. Survived by one son, Dale (Shelia) of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three daughters, Dorothy (Durwood) James of Havana, Ark., Tina (Charles) Finley, Cabot, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Faye Childers of Brinkley, Ark., Sue Childers Bailey, Morgantown, Ga.; one son-in-law, Bobby Bentley of Mayflower, Ark.; one sister, Edna Moody of Ozark, Ark.; 28 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren; many friends and relatives. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Landmark Baptist Church, England, Ark. Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Bro. David Jimerson will be officiating. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery, England, Ark.
