Fred Smith

Fred R. Smith, Jr. lived his life for this very day, to enter into that heavenly place with his Saviour, on March 4, 2013. Fred was born on September 9, 1933. He was a retired landscaper and farmer. He leaves to cherish his wife of 59 years, Frances L. (Whitfield) Smith of Lonoke, His 102 year old mother, Buffie Smith of England, his daughter, Kathy Baughman, His two sons, Mike (Brenda) Smith of Scott, Mark (Kerri) Smith of Lonoke. He has nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He was loved by everyone for his wonderful smile. He owned "Freddie's Diary Bar" on Broadway for many years. He attended the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock where he loved Pastor Holmes and his brothers and sisters in the Lord. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock. Officiating will be Rev. Joel N. Holmes and Rev. Nathan Holmes. Burial will follow in Keo Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home a Smith Family Funeral Home.
