Kathryn Staggs Perkins

Kathryn Staggs Perkins, 95, of Carlisle, died Monday, March 4, 2013. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Carlisle, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Staggs; her husband, Vernon Perkins and her siblings, Shuford Staggs, Kelly Staggs, Cleo Staggs, and Margie Thompson. She is survived by two sons, John and Thomas Perkins of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Michael Perkins of Benton, Elizabeth of Hazen, Lucas of Bryant and Jeremy of Carlisle; four great-grandchildren, Lyla, McCarlee, Peyton and Drew Michael and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Carlisle Cemetery by Pastor Ryan Rush of the First United Methodist Church in Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carlisle Cemetery or the First United Methodist Church of Carlisle. Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
