Luchen Albert Watson

Luchen Albert "Red" Watson, 84 of Stuttgart, entered heaven on March 5, 2013. He was born July 4, 1928 in Tomberlin, Ark. Mr. Red as he was known by many, was a good honest man who loved his family very much. He was a hard worker all of his life. He farmed in his younger years, then joined Riceland Foods and retired as a miller after almost 22 years. He then worked another 12 years at Wal-Mart before finally retiring for good. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lois Watson Coker, his parents, and several brothers & sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma Jean Reynolds Watson; two sons, Larry & Darryl Watson; a daughter, Gail Watson, all of Stuttgart; a brother, L.E. "Cotton" Watson of England, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home in England.
