Summer Brooks Littlefield

Summer Brooks Littlefield, 35, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2013. She was born January 31st, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee to Melvin Cody Brooks and Sue Wheeler Brooks. Summer was very devoted to her family and church. She was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church of North Little Rock. Summer's devotion to her family showed during her seven year fight. Starting with the blessing of Allie Anne, Summer started a seven year battle that would touch so many lives. She battled cancer day in and day out so that she would see Allie Anne one more day. That fight continued until the angels finally came to escort her home to be with our Lord. Cherishing her memory are her husband of 11 years, Alan Littlefield; daughter, Allie Ann; her mother, Sue Wheeler Brooks, father, Melvin Cody Brooks; and her sister, Lynley Brooks. She also leaves behind her father and mother-in-law, Shelton and Sandy Littlefield; her brother and sister-in-law, Shelton and Laura Littlefield, Jr; a host of other relatives and special friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday March 8th, 2013 at Parkhill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, with Rev. Ben Leonard and Dr. Ken Shaddox officiating.
