R.T. Alexander

R.T. ALEXANDER was born May 24, 1935 to the late Ruby and Margaret Parks Alexander. He departed this life March 4, 2013. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 1954. In 1956 he married Bertha Cooper and to this union of 56 years, five children were born. He was employed by Wonder Bakery and retired in 1985. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl Alexander and sons, Kenneth and Charles Alexander. He was baptized at an early age at Kenwood Baptist Church in Morrilton, Ark. He is survived by his wife Bertha Alexander; daughter, Linda Alexander; sons, Robert (Nora) and Bryan Alexander; sister, Rubylene Alexander and a host of grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Catherine Gill. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 11 a.m. at Covenant of Zion Cathedral Church, 3023 W.12th St., Little Rock.
