Anna Jane "Jean" Lewis Haywood

Anna Jane "Jean" Lewis Haywood was born September 11, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born to John and Della Lewis and was the fourth of seven children. Survivors include her husband of 60 years and 17 days, Dean Haywood, her two children and their spouses, Holly and Bob Warner and Robert and Diane Haywood, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Sam and Richard Lewis and Margie Sellars. Her parents and three brothers preeded her in death. Jean's life was characterized by lots of laughter, many friends, and her deep faith in Jesus. She was baptized at the Cincinnati Avenue Christian Church and was a faithful and active member of the Christian church throughout her life where she played the piano and sang in the choir. In addition to flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Cookson Hills Christian Ministries. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Moore's Southlawn.
