Lois Marie Wells

Lois Marie Wells, age 80, of Bald Knob, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Heber Springs. She was born Oct. 6, 1932 in McCrory, Ark. to Jim and Etta Stracener. She retired from General Industries, was a farmers wife and a member of Russell United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley McConnell and husband Floyd, Jr. of Bald Knob, Wilma James and husband Douglas of Pangburn, Beverly Lockhart and husband Billy of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Teresa Hicks, Daniel McConnell, Scotty Andrews, Robert Jones, Barry Paxton, Jason Paxton; 12 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Sammy Crossman; and three step-daughters, Charlotte Holder, Vickie Pannon, and Debbie Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands, Alvin Glen Wells and William E. "Buddy" Crossman. Visitation is Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
