Elbert "Frank" Green, 93, of Houston, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Born January 2, 1920 in Rushing, Arkansas, a son of George Lawson Green and Bertha Viola Lowrance Green. He was the widower of Augusta Pearl "Ogden" Green, a carpenter, and avid outdoorsman, where he loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his daughters, Edith Hammett and Frankie Hurley both of Springfield, Rosalie Perkins and husband Carl of Plumerville, Lavonda Beck and husband Joe of Oppelo, and Dawn Robnett and husband Randy of Houston; daughter-in-law Loida Salicrup of Florida; he leaves a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great grandkids; he was preceded in death by his son Frank Green Jr., a daughter Virginia Ann Green, and a son in law Darvin Hurley. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23rd at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Danny Ward officiating. Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
