Karen Denise Curtis Higgins

Karen Denise Curtis Higgins, 52, of Mayflower, was greeted by the Lord and her sweet baby, Haylee, March 20, 2013. She was born November 17, 1960 to George and Sue Curtis of Benton. Karen was preceded in death by her father, beloved daughter, Haylee Higgins, brother, Steven Curtis, sister, Sherrilyn Glenn and father in law, Russell Higgins. Denise was the keeper of the future. She held the tiniest of hands and the largest of hearts. She nurtured our most precious gifts, our children and our hearts. They kept her smile beaming and her light shining as she passed on a piece of her gift to us all. She is survived by her husband, Windell Higgins, mother, Sue Curtis, brother, Mike Curtis, sister, Tonya Johnson, mother in law, Reba Higgins and special niece, Micalah Johnson, as well as a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jared Glenn, Zach Glenn, Dustin Curtis, Thad Curtis, Skylar Higgins, and Chandler Higgins. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Saturday with burial to follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
