Laverne Woosley

Laverne Woosley, 76, of England, Ark. went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 21, 2013. She was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Lonoke County, Ark. to Jim and Ethel Collier. Laverne worked as a seamstress at the Clear Lake Shoe Corporation. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in England, Ark. Laverne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Woosley and a daughter, Donna Webb. She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Morales of England, Ark.; four grandchildren, Brittany Webb-Robbins (Joe) of Fayetteville, Ark., Shelby Morales, Carlos Morales and Logan Morales all of England, Ark.; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pat Joyner (Terrell) of San Antonio, Texas; Brenda Carpenter (Larry) of Purdy, Mo., Dorothy Cox (Allen) of Charleston, S.C. and Glenda Stewart of Arizona; one brother, Henry Collier of North Little Rock, Ark.; one aunt, Lorene Payne of Austin, Ark. along with her nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939.
