James Jennings

James Jennings, age 90, of Greenbrier, passed away March 20, 2013 in Sun City, Ariz. He was born April 8, 1922 in Clinton, Ark.; he was the son of Charles and Alama Jennings. James was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and a mechanic-supervisor for Phillips Petroleum for 37 years. He was a member of the Arkansas Razorbacks Airstream club, Mabelvale American Legion, Greenbrier First Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling with his Airstream friends and hunting. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Beulah Jennings; parents, Fletcher and Alama Jennings; brothers, Junius and Jack Jennings; and sisters, Winnie, Eula and Lila. Survivors include sons James Cecil and Fletcher Jennings; grandsons, John Jennings, Nicholas Jones and Jeremy Jones; great-grandchildren, Monica Dinglasan, Emily Jennings and Jax Jones. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, Ark. 72209.
