Gladys Hubbard Maddox

Gladys Hubbard Maddox, 77, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born January 26, 1936 to Lee and Minnie Hubbard. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and her daughter-in-law, Linda Maddox. She is survived by the love of her life, Charles Maddox; her children, Barbara Berry (Hunter Richardson), Debbie Wisdom (J.R. Mills), and Steve Maddox; grandchildren, Joshua Wisdom, William Wisdom (Jonah Flanigan), April McMillin (Murray McMillin), Jessica Hall (Todd Hall), and Jay Roberts (Mikey Roberts); and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Murl (Louise) Hubbard, Irlon "Icie" Hubbard, Danny Hubbard, Mary Ellen Gross, and Fay Dilbeck. Visitation is 10-11:30 a.m., Monday, at Essex Funeral Home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, at Eastside Baptist Church with burial in St. Charles Cemetary.
