Sarah B. Buettner of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 in a local nursing home. Ms. Buettner was born November 5, 1921 in Okolona, Arkansas, reared in Prescott, Arkansas and moved to Texarkana in 1944. She was retired Civil Service Employee with Red River Army Depot and Defense Logistic Agency in Dallas, a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, Texarkana Historical System, Museum Guild, TRACH, Women for the Arts and American Association for Retired Persons. She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, John M. and Ponleu Buettner of Longview, Texas; two grandsons, Brian and Brad Buettner of Denham Springs, Louisiana; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Cloel Landers of Red Oak, Texas, and numerous other family and friends. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas, with Rev. Larry Sims officiating under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O.
