James Edward Finley, age 52, of Hattieville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was born February 27, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a son of the late James Earet Finley, Jr., and Joyce Dulaney Finley. He was a ceramic tile setter, and a member of First Church of Nazarene where he taught Sunday School Class and served on the Church Board. He liked to hunt, and loved spending time with his three grandkids. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jean Ann Jacobs Finley; his mother, Joyce Dulaney Finley; sons, Jake Eric Finley, and Anthony Joseph Finley; sister, Cheryl Ann Wright of Kansas City, Missouri; grandsons, Taylor Jayce Finley and Cayden Eric Finley; granddaughter, Kaylie Faith Squires all of Hattieville; father and mother-in-law, Jake Jacobs and Jerri Jacobs of England, Arkansas; a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Birson Finley. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Saturday, November 23, at First Church of Nazarene in Morrilton. Burial: Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 22 at the church.
