Joyce Ann Spadoni Wyatt, 69, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013. She was born June 22, 1944, in Pine Bluff, to the late Julio and Bernice Fitzhugh Spadoni. She married Jimmy Howard Wyatt on November 22, 1967 and has one daughter, Beth Ann Wyatt Harris, of Bella Vista. Joyce spent 42 and a half years as a teacher in the White Hall School District, teaching second grade at G.R. Taylor Elementary for a majority of that time. She received her elementary education at Linwood Schools and went on to attend the Annunciation Academy at St. Joseph's Parish and Dollarway High School, where she graduated in 1962. She went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in education from Southern State University (now Southern Arkansas University) in Magnolia. Joyce attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was a devoted mother and wife who cared deeply about all those around her. She was loved by many and never truly understood how beautiful she was – inside and out. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Allen Spadoni. Survivors include her brothers, Danny Spadoni, Sr. of Bryant, Ricky Spadoni of Sheridan, Larry Spadoni of Pine Bluff; her sisters, Mary Allen of Sheridan, Debbie Harper of Beloit, Wisc., Rhonda Wilmoth of Woodlawn; and 10 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. A Vigil will be Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m., followed by visitation from 6-7:30 p.m. at Robinson's.
