Robert Thomas Pankey Sr.

Robert Thomas Pankey Sr., 84, of Judsonia, died Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was born February 1, 1929 in the Clay Community a son of the late Tom Oles and Helen Kathleen Knowlton Pankey. Mr. Pankey was a member of the Bald Knob Church of Christ and was a retired Senior Lineman with Arkansas Power and Light. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Kathryn (Pankey) Latimer (Jack) of Searcy; sister, Billie June Chapman; grandchildren, Holly Latimer, Robert Pankey III and Jeremy Pankey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katy Jean Pankey; son, Robert Thomas Pankey, Jr.; sister, Frances Bennett and an infant brother, Gerald Pankey. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
