Ira J. Alton

Ira J. Alton, "Bo", born Jan. 11, 1931, age 82, of Alexander, Ark. died peacefully at home Oct. 4, 2013. Ira is survived by his lovely wife, Patricia A. Alton; two daughters, Jennifer Alton and Rick Collie of Mabelvale and Jessica and Daniel Perkins of Bryant; four grandchildren, Lily Elkins of Alexander, Clay Elkins of Mabelvale, Bryce Perkins of Bryant and Dustin Collie of Mabelvale; two great-grandchildren, Majetta Elkins and Michael Dochterman; brother, John and B.J. Alton of Arcade, La.; two sisters, Mary Pyles of Simsboro, La. and Odesa (Leroy) Burnett of Bryant; and several nieces and nephews, all who will miss him dearly. Graveside services will be held at 12 on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark. with Brother David Fogarty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
