Earnest Ambrose Wehr

Earnest Ambrose Wehr, 79, of Cabot died Monday, October 7, 2013. He was born November 4, 1933 in Sigourney, Iowa to the late Walter and Leona Webber Wehr. Earnest was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War and he was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Mireya Rosales Wehr; his children, Kathleen House (Buddy), Frank Castro-Wehr (Dyann), Deaconess Colleen Caldwell (Kelly), Maureen Wehr (William Shaver), Michael Wehr (Florence), Patrick Wehr (Michelle), Megan Pruett (Steven); step-children, Brett and Talia Lopez; siblings, Alvin Wehr (Mona), Linda French (Jim) and Cecil Wehr (Kay); fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and the mother of his children, Joan Alice Hoyne Wehr. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Memorial services are 10 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church, 15361 Hwy. 5 in Cabot, with Pastor Jeffery Warrick officiating.
