Geraldine Weaver Tharpe of Van Buren, Arkansas formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas died Monday at Van Buren Health and Rehab Center at the age of 84. Survivors: son, Greg and wife Denise Tharpe of El Dorado, Hills, California; daughter, Jerri and husband Tom Ryan of Fort Smith; brothers, Dwight Weaver of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Phil Weaver of White Hall; sister, Juanita Hunt of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
