James Michael Clay Sullivan

James Michael Clay Sullivan passed away October 7, 2013. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camden. He worked for CHR Solutions for eight years. He was a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and was a member of their golf team. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Hubbert Burkes, and his grandparents, Laverne and Ruth Sullivan. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Sullivan of Bearden, Ark.; his stepchildren, Tyler Moore, Nikolas Moore and Patrick Green; his parents, Eddie and Terry Sullivan of Camden, Ark.; a sister, Misty Sullivan Freeman and her husband, Keith, of Hot Springs, Ark.; a niece, Meredith Freeman of Hot Springs, Ark.; his grandmother, Selma Burkes; his uncles and aunts, Tommy and Linda Walker of Natchitoches, La. and Jim and Joanne Callan of Solona Beach, Calif., and several cousins. Clay fought his battle with cancer for 11 years. Clay received his strength from his faith, family and friends. He was happiest playing golf and deer hunting. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. he family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Camden with Dr. Richard Piles officiating followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
