Frankie Westherford

Frankie Weatherford, 62, of Roland, Ark., passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013. He was born January 15, 1951 in Conway, Ark. to the late James Weatherford and Mary Inez "Granny" Weatherford. Frankie was a truck driver for many years and attended Souls Anchor Church. He served as a volunteer fireman at Lake Maumelle. He was always willing to help, and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Vickie; son, Stephen Smith (Carrie) of Vilonia, Ark.; daughter, Kelly Canizaro (Scot) of Southaven, Miss.; seven grandchildren: Victoria, Mia, Blake, Bryce, Taylor, Kasey, and Jackson; six sisters; two brothers; cousins; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Frankie to Lake Maumelle Fire Department, P.O. Box 68, Roland, Ark. 72135. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Lake Maumelle Fire Department, 20720 Clay Street, Roland, Ark.
