Landel Earl McGinty

LANDEL EARL MCGINTY, 70, of North Little Rock passed from this life on Oct. 18, 2013. He was born on Aug. 3, 1943 in McGintytown, Ark. to the late Cecil and Willie McGinty. Landel was the owner of McGinty Mower Repair. He made many lasting friendships with his customers. When not working in his garage, he could be found sitting on his front porch with extra lawn chairs for whoever stopped by. He is also preceded in death by the love of his life Glenda Caton McGinty, one brother; Arnold McGinty, and one sister; Reda Childers. Landel is survived by his loving daughters and son in laws; Regina and Bill Spradlin of Greenbrier, Ark., Karen and Tim Brewer of North Little Rock, Ark., four grandchildren that were his life; Derek Spradlin (Michelle), Erik Spradlin (Lacey), Shea and Tyler Brewer, two great-grandchildren; Bryson and Temperance Spradlin, brothers; Dalton McGinty (Martha), Danny McGinty(Betty), Darrell McGinty (Anita), sisters; Mary Rickett, Geanie Wickliff, Diane Frizzell (Ted), and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. A Funeral Service will be held in his honor on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with burial to follow at McGintytown Cemetery.
