Rose Alice Green, age 90, of Benton, left this world for her eternal home in Heaven, Oct. 18, 2013. She was born Nov. 4, 1922 in Wave, Dallas County, Ark., to Dock and Jewel Hubbard Womack. Mrs. Green graduated from Princeton High School and retired from Jones Lumber Company after 42 years of service. She was a charter member of Parkview United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and on many of the church's committees. Mrs. Green was a member of the Benton Business and Professional Women's Club for 57 years, where she served in different offices including President and was honored one year as "Woman of the Year." She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris H. Green; two brothers, David Womack and Hugh Womack and three sisters, Lois Bryant, Margie Kuhn and Domel Womack. She is survived by her two sons, David "Terry" Kidd (Sissy) and Douglas C. Kidd (Ceil) all of Benton; three granddaughters, Anne Kidd Bowlin (Mark), Kristy Kidd Howard (Jeremy) and Kim Glenn Rousseau (Saul); grandson, Michael Glenn (LeAnne); seven great-grandchildren, Blake Bowlin, Matti Rose Lee, Shayne Howard, Alex Glenn, Ryan Glenn, Maddox Rousseau and Nate Rousseau and four sisters, Ruth Crouse of Hot Springs, Betty Jo Styles of Benton, Laura Mae Pierce of Pine Bluff and Permelia "Pam" Bell of Malvern. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Rev.
