Katherine Houpt Thomas

Katherine Houpt Thomas, 92, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on October 24, 2013. She was born July 24, 1921 in Lonsdale, Arkansas to the late James Egbert Houpt and Minnie Beatrice Daniel Houpt. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Buddy and Earl and husband, John Orval Thomas. She is survived by siblings: Emma Dee Addy and Jimmy Houpt; her children: JoCeil Lippert (Robert) of Quitman, John Thomas (Kay) of Mountain View; J.R. Thomas of Little Rock; Jane Emma Carper of Mabelvale; two grandchildren: Joshua Carper; Tom Thomas (Amy); four great grandchildren: Andrew, Lexy, Mason, Wyatt and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. Interment will follow at Fair Play Cemetery.
