Chiles Burnett Lee Sr.

Chiles Burnett Lee Sr., 92 passed away Monday, Oct. 21, at his home in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born July 2, 1921 in Kilmarnock, Va. He moved to Los Angeles in 1955 and was employed as a CPA for Hughes Aircraft until he retired in 1985. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. His survivors are one son, Chiles Burnett Lee Jr. (Wilma) of Benton, Ark.; two daughters, Cloteal Y. Lee Morton of Little Rock, Ark. and Frances Donison Rose, of Englewood, Calif.; one brother, Whittier C. Lee (Debora), of Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Ola Lee Welborn (Thomas), of W. Orange, N.J., and Ellen Lee Burke, of Orlando, Fla.; three grandsons, Michael A. Morton (Yolanda) of Ackworth, Ga., Desmond Lee of Texarkana, Ark. and Chiles Burnett Lee III, of Benton, Ark.; two granddaughters, Terri D. Morton, of North Little Rock, Ark. and Catherine A. Lee of Benton, Ark.; four great-grandsons, and many relatives and friends. A Family Hour will be held at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock, AR (501) 372-1305, from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013. The funeral service will be held at Elect Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Benton, Ark. at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. Elder Karl Barnes officiant. All family and friends are invited to attend. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Benton, Ark. will follow the service.
