Randy Tarver, 67, of Greenwood, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 in his home. He was a retired drug wholesale rep. with JM Smith Drug Co., a Tank Commander in the Arkansas National Guard, attended the Greenwood United Methodist Church, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Conway. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Tarver; two sons, Rusty Tarver of Greenwood and Ryan Tarver of the home; cousins, Clay Lamey of Conway, Janice Lamey Young and husband, Paul of Conway; aunt, Dora Libby Lamey of Conway; sister, Sally Tarver Ingram of Conway; brother-in-law, Bob Shepherd and wife, Mona of Conway; and nieces, Kerri Davis of Conway and Laura Lee Southerland of Conway. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6-7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dan Palmer, Greg Palmer, Wayland A. Parker II, Bill Woody, Joe Pearson, Jim Hendrickson, Tim Terry, and Randy Gazzoala. Honorary pallbearers will be The Vache Grasse Men's Golf Association.
