Minnie Lucille Meins Staton

Minnie Lucille Meins Staton, 76, widow of Lynn D. Staton, passed away Monday. She was born April 4, 1937, in Stuttgart to Henry George Meins and Rose Catherine Sumner Meins. She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Clara Kleimann Guild, and known as the "Tracky Lady" for the St. John's Savings Program. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Howard and Arthur Meins; and sister, Ruby Meins Dierks. Survivors are daughter, Lynda Staton of Keo; son, Terry Staton (Sharon) of Manassas, Virginia; grandson, Ian Staton of Virginia; brothers, Herbert (Donna) Meins of Stuttgart, Marion (Carolyn) Meins of Little Rock and Waymond (Kaye) Meins of Pine Bluff; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home.
