Betty Joyce Coldren Hix Grafton

Betty Joyce Coldren Hix Grafton, 82, passed into the arms of the Lord peacfully on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 surrounded by her daughter, Heidi Hix Prater and granddaughter, Haley Hix Jacobs Schiavone, as well as her wonderful friends at Horizon Bay. Betty resided over the years in Parkin, Ark., Hot Springs, Ark., and Plano, Texas. She was a member of Tri Delta. Betty was a huge Razorback fan. She loved to wear the color red in honor of her team. Betty also loved to play rummikub with her friends. She always had a smile on her face and was happy every day. One of the most important things in Betty's life was her strong faith. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. A private inurnment will take place at Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne, Ark. where she will be placed next to the love of her life, Billy Stewart Hix. A second private inurnment will take place at Crestview Cemetery in Hotsprings, Ark. where she will be placed along side her second husband, Gordon "Bubba" Grafton.
