Rebecca Lynn Ables

Rebecca Lynn Ables, 56, of Paron, Ark., passed away Aug. 30, 2013. Born in Somerset, Ky. to the late Joe and Barbara Elaine Scoville Harper, she was a veteran of the United States Marines. Becky was a caregiver of special needs children. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ables; children, Gabe Slade (Jessica) of Johnson City, Tenn., Salina Smith (Blake) and Amanda Ables, both of Arkadelphia, Ark., Jason Ables (Jamie) and Jeremy Ables (Sarah), both of North Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Joe Harper Jr. (Becky) of Somerset, Ky.; sister, Letitia Ducas (Chris) of Lexington, Ky.; grandchildren, Carter Ables, Margo Ables, Trey Ables, Hudson Ables and Ella Ables; nephews, Wells Ducas, Ike Ducas, Pierce Ducas and Robby Burgin (Heather); great-nephew, Leif Burgin; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was well-loved and will be missed by all who knew her. The family will be accepting guests for a Celebration of Her Life from 12 noon – 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at Paron Elementary School Cafeteria, Paron, Ark. Everyone is welcome to attend.
