C.E. Dicks

C.E. Dicks, 76 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was born January 28, 1937 in Ulm, Arkansas to the late Noble Jesse and Addie Mae (Pettey) Dicks. He was a member of Westark Church of Christ. He worked for Western Electric where he was an Electrical installations engineer and retired from Lucent Technologies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Dale Dicks. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary. He is survived by his wife Jean of the home, two sons: Roger D. Dicks of Van Buren, and Charles Richard Dicks of Alma, his sister, Wanda Woodle of Beebe, Ark. as well as five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David, Brent, Michael, Bryan, and Steven Dicks and Barry Neal. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
