Evelyn Maxine Rogers

Evelyn Maxine Rogers, 93, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was born April 23, 1920 in Wheeling, Arkansas to Edwin T. and Hettie Shaw. She was a member of College Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Howard (Tom) of Searcy; one son, Frank Rogers,(Judi) of Rockford, Illinois; five grandchildren, Cindy Gurchiek (Jim) of Searcy, Christy Perry (Keith) of Sugar Land, Texas, Beth Collins (David) of Searcy, Stephanie Todd (John) of Roscoe, Illinois, and Ryan Rogers of Rockford, Illinois; nine great grandchildren, Erin Gurchiek Clark (Brady), Austin Gurchiek, Ann-Marie Gurchiek, Claire Perry, Thomas Perry, Charlie Collins, Maggie Collins, Collin Todd, and Connor Todd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Rogers, four sisters, and one brother. A private memorial service will be held at College Church of Christ with a visitation from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14. Burial will be in Rockford, Illinois.
