Joseph Leonard Branstetter, 86, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2013. He was a Marine Veteran and a member of Albert Pike Masonic Lodge of Little Rock. For many years he was a self-contracted painter and was very well liked. He then went on to become a surveyor for Garver Engineering. He enjoyed just about anything that had to do with sports. Most of all he loved his family as much as they loved him and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Barbara and his three children, Donnie (Nancy), Deborah and Dennis. Also to cherish his memory are a sister, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, his mother, Myrtle, and five brothers. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Graveside services with Military Honors will be 11 a.m. Monday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Ark. 72120 with Pastor Max Pyron officiating.
