Louise Fish

Louise Lindsey Fish, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born March 10, 1929 in Star City, she was the daughter of the late David and Ellene Owens Lindsey. She was reared and received her early education in Star City, graduating from Star City High School in 1947. After high school, she attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. In March of 1947, she married Gerald L. Fish in Monticello, Ark. Together they had two children and shared over 65 years of love, happiness and memories. Mrs. Fish moved to the Pine Bluff area in 1950. She was the church secretary for South Side Baptist for many years, and then served as secretary at Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she served as Sunday School Superintendent. She was currently a member at Lakeside United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Wayne Lindsey and Rev. Billy Wray Lindsey. Survivors include her husband, Gerald L. Fish of Pine Bluff; her children, Bonnie Lane Terry (Clifford) of Sheridan, Ark. and Rev. Bill Lindsey Fish (Carla) of Prescott, Ark.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Rev. Joseph "Jake" Leon Lindsey of Florence, Ark. and David Lindsey of Pangburn, Ark. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Roselawn Cemetery, with Reverend Siegfried Johnson and Reverend Pam Estes officiating by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.
