Anne Nita Wooten Rosteck, 91, passed away on September 12, 2013 in Southlake, Texas. She was born January 25, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James Earl and Dean Wooten. Anne lived in Little Rock for most of her life before moving to Southlake, Texas in 2010. Anne was a graduate of Little Rock High School in 1941 and married Louis W. Rosteck on August 24, 1948 and was married for 57 years until Louie's death in 2005. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Little Rock and Peace Lutheran Church of Hurst, Texas. Anne was a life-time member of the Tri-W Sorority and a volunteer for many years at the Little Rock Children's Hospital. Anne was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Garland, and Julian Wooten and her husband, Louis W. Rosteck. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Anne Rosteck; Nancy Oakley and her husband, Tommy; Jayne Kiefhaber and her husband Jim; grandchildren, Katy West; Jay Oakley and his wife Alisa; Andy Kiefhaber and his wife Shannon; Nancy Schneider and her husband Joey; great-grandchildren Melissa Lawson and her husband Danny; Allison Hughey; and Jack and Drew Oakley; and great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abby Lawson. Memorial service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bacic of First Lutheran Church will officiate.
