Joyce Lee (Boyd) Blucker, 83, of Jacksonville left this world Wednesday, September 18, 2013. She was born June 3, 1930 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to John Hoyt and Cordie Davenport Boyd. After graduating from Jacksonville High School Joyce went to work for Blass Department Store in Little Rock before becoming an employee of the State of Arkansas where she remained until retiring after 34 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville and the Wesleyan Circle. She is preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Ann Hall and Jane Hearn, and son-in-law David H. Kight. Joyce leaves cherished memories with her husband of 59 years, Oscar Wayne Blucker of Jacksonville; two daughters, Linda C. Blucker, of Jacksonville; Kimberly L. Kight, of Cabot; sisters, Dean Parnell (Jerry) of Benton and Sandra Young (Johnnie) of Jacksonville; grandsons, Ian Tyler Kight and Elijah Wayne Davis both of Cabot. Elijah's father J.T. Davis Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
