Billie LaVonne Palmer

Billie LaVonne Palmer, 84, of Maumelle, passed away September 24, 2013. She was born April 19, 1929 to the late William and Elizabeth West in Topeka, Kansas. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dale Palmer, as well as her siblings; Lou Stallard (Al) and Robert West. She is also survived by her children; Lonnie Moreth, Mike Palmer (Linda), Jim Palmer, and Janet Mack (Dave). Billie is further survived by twelve grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and other cherished loved ones. Billie was preceded in death by her siblings; Howard West, Arty West, Virgil West and Dorothy Gallo as well as her nephews; Mark West and Kevin Kenworthy. Billie was very active in family life and loved to garden, quilt, and cook. She made the best chicken & noodles and Yorkshire pudding. A visitation will be held Saturday September 28th at 10 a.m. in Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church of Maumelle. A funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church.
