Bobbie J. Tipton, 78 of Conway, passed away Wednesday September 25, 2013. She was born March 2, 1935 in Roland, AR to the late Claude and Hester (Johnson) Camp. Mrs. Tipton was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harley Camp, Arvie Camp and Harlin Ray Camp, four sisters, Artie Jones, Martha Jones, Dorothy Vann and Lorene Carey, half-brother, James Kemp, one great-grandson, Ryan Mahan and two sons-in-law, John Acklin, and David Cullum. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed gardening, shopping, camping, fishing, bowling, and talking on the phone. Mrs. Tipton also enjoyed preparing meals at family gatherings, especially during the holidays; her specialties were chocolate gravy, cream taco, and spice cake with caramel icing. Grandma Bobbie loved handing out Christmas presents to all her grandchildren and family each Christmas Eve. Mrs.Tipton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 62 years, Waldon Tipton, son, Lynn Tipton and wife Judy, two daughters, Carolyn Cullum, and Pam Acklin, all of Conway, sisters, Modell Camp of Conway and Murlene Frizzell of Madison Heights MI, eleven grandchildren, Cherie, Tanya, Jerry Lynn, Jenny, Dustin, April, Ashley, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Sarah and Jessica, twenty three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway (501)-327-7727, with Bro. Tommy Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
