Leon Redd

LEON REDD, 65 of Jacksonville passed away April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born Aug. 8, 1948 in Newport, Ark. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Redd, of 48 years. He was also survived by his daughter Suzanne Jeffries of North Little Rock, Ark.; and son, Bryan Redd of Sherwood. Also survived by his brother, Johnny Redd of Bryant, Ark.; and two sisters, Rosemary Enmon of Marion, Ark. and Betty Ross of Spring, Texas; and two grandsons, Hunter and Nathan Redd also of Sherwood, Ark. He is preceeded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Redd and Tommy Redd. Leon loved to go camping, boating, and eagle watching at Lake DeGray with his family. He also loved to spend time with his grandsons who he adored very much. Most of all he loved life, retirement and working in the yard. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel 7724 Landers Rd, NLR, Ark. on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Services will also be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
