Wilma Hutcherson

Wilma Hutcherson, 88, of Russellville, passed Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Heritage Living Center in Conway. The daughter of John C. and Ida Reynolds Storms, she was born October 12, 1925 in Beaumont, Texas. She and Dearl M. "Good" Hutcherson were married on January 4th, 1941 in Russellville, Ark. Wilma was a cosmetologist for many years, where she owned and operated the La Vogue Beauty Salon in Russellville. She was a long time member of the South New Hope Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dearl M. "Good" Hutcherson; son, Dervearl Hutcherson; and daughter, Lana Hutcherson Furner. She is survived by her sister, Verla Mae Droddy of Orange, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Clark and husband, Roger, Little Rock; Jan Wofford and husband, Bill, Conway; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the professional staffs at College Square Retirement Community, Heritage Living Center, and Gentiva Hospice for the genuine, loving care they provided. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Wesley Hilliard, Pastor, Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
