Harold Lloyd Campbell

Harold Lloyd Campbell, age 81, of Warren, Ark., formerly of Moro, Ark. (Lee County) died Wednesday, August 20th at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 30th, 1932 in Lee County, A son of the late Arnold Campbell and Lillie Weatherford Campbell. Harold graduated from Moro High School and went to join the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was a Industrial Mechanic working for Jack Winters and Ladonna's Sports Ware. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion, He served as past president and was a lifetime member of Oakdale Hunting Club. He loved fishing, hunting, yard work and especially his garden. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Andrew Campbell and Elmer "Buddy" Campbell and a sister, Charlene Powers. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Helen Stewart Campbell whom he married November 16th, 1963. A son, Gary Campbell and friend Tammie, Hot Springs, Ark., three daughters, Kathy Doggett, Warren, Ark.; Mershelle Grant and spouse Tommy, Glenwood, Ark.. and Diane Foulks and spouse Kevin, Horn Lake, Miss.; a brother, Bettis Campbell, Des Arc, Ark. and five sisters, Christine Cagle, St. Louis, Mo.; June Arnold, Whitney, Texas, Maxine Riggs, Sullivan, Mo., Annie Kos, Arnold, Mo. and Hazel Joyner, Lake Worth, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23rd at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro, Ark. (Lee County). Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
