Erand Earl Blacklock, 97, entered the promise keeping of God's eternal life on Aug. 26, 2014. She was born on Feb. 11, 1917, in Annona, Texas, to L.E. and Ressie E. Richardson. They preceded her in death along with two husbands, Rev. L.E. Lucky and Carl M. Blacklock; and brothers Carson Richardson and Harrelldee T. Richardson. She is survived by four children and spouses: Dr. and Mrs. Harrell C. Lucky, Dallas, Texas, Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Grayson L. Lucky, Edmond, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Larry L. (Donita) Cooper, Whitsett, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy B. (Reanel) Merriman, Plano, Texas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one niece. Her church home in Dallas was Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. Previously, she had been a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, North Little Rock, Ark., for 55 years, serving as the pianist. She also taught private piano lessons. A Memorial Service of Worship will be observed at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Dallas, Texas. The interment will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Texarkana, Texas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be designated to the Music Department at the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Dallas, Texas. Other donations may be given to the Blair Monie Chair in Preaching, a family foundation at Austin Theological Seminary, Austin, Texas.
