Dr. Kay Barclay Feild

Dr. Kay Barclay Feild, Ph. D, passed away on Nov. 26, 2014 in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Feb. 9, 1938 in Lavansville, Pa., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barclay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. T.A. Feild III and a daughter, Anne Feild Spillman. She was a graduate of The Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing, a graduate of Westark Community College-Associates of Arts, graduate of University of Arkansas, bachelor of arts, graduate of University of Arkansas Master of Arts and graduate of University of Arkansas Doctor of Philosophy, a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a member of Arkansas Psychological Association. She was also a clinical pyschologist for over 20 years, starting with Baker Psychiatric Clinic and eventually operating her own private practice, President of the Junior League of Fort Smith, a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, member of the Alter Guild and served on the Vestry. Survivors include daughters, Katherine Feild, Elizabeth McClellan and husband, Bryan, Janie Hager and husband, Eric; son-in-law, Tracy Spillma;, granddaughters, Grace and Feild Spillman, Lindsay Taylor and Presley Hager; sister, Suzette Barclay and husband, Peter Mitchell. Memorials may be made to St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church 2701 Old Greenwood Road Fort Smith, AR 72903 or Willard Walker Hospice home 325 E. Longview Fayetteville, AR 72703.
